If my heart could talk
Then what would it say?
Would it answer the questions
I ask every day?

Would it whisper to me
What I know’s all too true,
That I wasn’t alive
‘Til I laid eyes on you.

Would it tell me that we
Are two parts of a whole,
And that deep in your eyes
I can see my own soul.

Would it teach me some things
And especially this…
Why I always get totally
Lost in you Chris.

Would it tell me that I
Had been travelin’ through
Lonely decades of time
‘Til I finally found You?

Would it tell me the reason
I carry a flame,
That will only light up
At the sound of your name?

Yes… it surely would!
